Staff

Our teacher to child ratios are low and we give the children individual attention. We have experienced and qualified Play-with-a-Purpose teachers who are loving, creative, resourceful and dedicated.

We are in a beautiful garden setting. The playground and classrooms are interactive, stimulating and child-orientated. Learning through play is a priority.

We believe in creative environments which encourage learning. The classrooms and playgrounds are set up for discovery.

SEPARATE CONCEPTS

Concepts such as colour and shape are learnt separately.

REPETITION

Repeating skills through a variety of activities is critical for developing strong learning pathways in the brain.

OBSERVATION AND DOCUMENTATION

Educators listen, look and document their observations without detracting from the child’s play experience. This is often done through videos and photos.

Our daily programme at Rainbow Valley Nursery School allows our children to be secure and safe while learning. There is a wonderful balance between teacher-led and child-led activities which encourages the children to develop confidence while they explore and make choices. School readiness outcomes, curriculum goals and required developmental steps are reached.

THE CLASSROOMS

The classrooms are attractive and interesting, each with its own exciting theme. A large variety and quantity of educational equipment is available using Nursery School-in-a-Box©. This is a set of eight boxes of developmental toys and games suitable for preschool children. Your child will never get bored!
